About Diane
Diane has spent the last several years living in a cave in Texas, guarded by her pocket-sized panther, Bear.
Her cave walls are composed mostly of books, its floor and furnishings decorated with colorful catnip toys. The suburban house that surrounds her wordy walls serves as camouflage. Bear has disguised himself as an ordinary house cat, but his stare can stop speeding bullets.
After awakening from a lengthy slumber that lasted half a century, Diane started to write. She resorted to using a computer when she ran out of room for more journals.
She leaves her cave at night to forage for food, and spends every other waking hour typing her stories or plotting ideas for future books.
Diane has recently been spotted making brief excursions during the daylight hours, despite the ever-present danger. She knows all too well that any human encounter could inspire yet more stories.
